Marta Miecznikowska, Portugal
I spent 6 months in Porto, Portugal studying tourism at ISCET – Instituto Superior de Ciencias Empresariais e de Turismo, and all I can say is that I had a wonderful time there! You can feel like a part of the family, because teachers treat you individually and are always helpful, and all the students try to present their culture and engage you in their life. But we all know Erasmus is not only about school. If you ask me about Porto… this city just stolen my heart. You can do everything you want there, no matter if you are a calm person or party animal. If you come to this city, you will just fall in love with people! Go for a coffee and nata, take a stroll in Jardins do Palacio de Cristal, try surfing by the ocean and have fun during botellon. You will never get enough of Porto. Erasmus gives the chance not only to study abroad, but to open to the new cultures and adventures, it creates an opportunity to make your student’s life even better. What is the best advise for students thinking if Erasmus is worth it? Don’t even think about it, just say yes and go!
